Dr. Tiffany H. Phan, OD, FAAO

Dr. Tiffany Phan was born in Sacramento, CA and raised in Elk Grove, CA. She earned her Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of California, Davis, before pursuing her Doctor of Optometry degree at the Southern California College of Optometry at MBKU in Fullerton, CA. Dr. Phan further advanced her skills by completing an Ocular Disease Residency at the VA Southern Nevada Healthcare System in Las Vegas. This advanced training provided extensive experience in diagnosing and managing complex eye conditions including glaucoma, macular degeneration, and diabetic retinopathy.

Her dedication to clinical excellence is further demonstrated by her earning a Fellowship of the American Academy of Optometry (FAAO), specializing in Primary Care and Ocular Disease. Her commitment to the field extends beyond just providing eye care services, as she currently also teaches 4th-year clinical externships for the UC Berkeley School of Optometry.

Dr. Gina Wong earned a BS in Biological Science at the University of California, Davis and a Doctor of Optometry Degree at Pacific University College of Optometry in Forest Grove, Oregon. Dr Wong continued her studies at the University of Houston College of Optometry in Houston, Texas where she completed a residency & fellowship in telemedicine & neuro-ophthalmology. At the University of Houston, she supervised and instructed 3rd & 4th year optometry student clinicians on patient care in Family Practice Clinic and Neuro-ophthalmology Clinic as well as teaching ocular pathology / neuro-ophthalmology.

Dr. Wong moved back to California where she cared for patients at Sacramento Mather VA Eye Clinic. At the VA, she worked with ophthalmology specialist in retina, glaucoma & cornea. After caring for veterans for over a decade, she returned to private practice.

Dr. Stephanie Kai, OD

Born and raised in Fresno, Dr. Stephanie Kai is excited to bring her extensive eye care expertise to the Marysville and surrounding community. She began her academic journey at the University of California, Davis, earning a Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences with an emphasis in Neurobiology Physiology and Behavior in 2010. Dr. Kai then pursued her passion for optometry, receiving her Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of California, Berkeley in 2014.

​After a year of practice in California, Dr. Kai spent five years practicing in San Antonio, Texas, where she cherished the welcoming community and small-town feel. The pandemic brought her back to California, allowing her to be closer to family.​​
Our practice is proud to offer advanced tele-optometry services featuring Dr. Kai on an as needed basis. While you will still be welcomed into our office and supported by our on-site clinical team, Dr. Kai will conduct your comprehensive exam remotely using high-definition, real-time diagnostic technology.
