Who Should Consider LASIK?
You may be a good fit if you:​

Are 18+ years old with a stable prescription

Have healthy corneas and no active eye diseases

Want to reduce or eliminate glasses or contacts

Does not have severe dry eye

Are not currently pregnant or nursing
​Note: If you have dry eye or high astigmatism, let's talk. Advanced technology may still make surgery an option for you, or we can discuss alternatives.

The Comprehensive Consultation
Before you schedule surgery, we perform a thorough evaluation to determine if you are a candidate. We check your vision and dilate your eyes, check for tear film stability, and prescription stability. Not everyone is a candidate for LASIK, and we will tell you honestly if another procedure (like PRK or ICL) is safer for you. -
Surgeon Referral
If you are a good candidate, we will refer you to a trusted surgeon we have vetted personally. We handle the transfer of your records and help coordinate your surgery date. -
The Procedure
On the day of surgery, you will go to the laser center. The procedure is quick (usually under 15 minutes for both eyes), and you will return home to rest the same day. -
Post-Operative Care
We will typically see you one day after your surgery to check your healing and vision. We will continue to see you for scheduled follow-ups (usually at 1 week, 1 month, 3 months, 6 months, and 1 year) to ensure your eyes are healthy and your vision remains stable.
